We also refined several design details, including an improved barrel collar and the addition of a stainless steel grub screw to help prevent outer barrel rotation. The updated collar design increases strength, though it is no longer compatible with the Gen 1 MTW feed tube.

If you own a Gen 1 MTW, our original style barrels are still made to order. You can also upgrade to the Gen 2 Feed Tray System, which installs with only minor sanding required.

These lightweight Wolverine MTW outer barrels are constructed using:

• 3K Carbon Fiber
• 3D Printed barrel collar
• Now with 2 Thread Options: 
  • CNC-machined 6060 aluminum adapters, lathe-finished for precision
    • Exceptional Strength
  • SLS Printed Nylon 12 
    • Excellent Industrial Grade Strength and as light as it gets

Compatible with most MTW variants, including:

• Gen 2
• Gen 3 Billet
• MTW-9
• MTW-308
• Forged Series
• Article 1, 2, 3, and 4

Not compatible with Gen 1 MTW, Gen 12 Shotgun, or MTW AK.

Lightweight Performance

The 10.3" version saves approximately 4.5 oz over standard setups, with even greater weight savings on longer configurations.

Lightweight performance is great — but the carbon fiber look speaks for itself.

Sizing Information

Outer barrel length is measured from the end of the receiver to the end of the barrel threads, which follows the standard used by most airsoft manufacturers.

A measurement reference photo is included in the listing.
